Chelate FMZ

FMZ (Lagoon) contains fully water-soluble chelated elements, including iron, zinc, manganese, nitrogen, potassium, and sulfur. It is a specialized micronutrient fertilizer designed to address deficiencies of the three essential micronutrients in all plants.

Iron is crucial in photosynthesis processes, sugar production, and energy generation in plants and is essential for the formation of many plant enzymes. Zinc is important for enzyme activation and the production of growth hormones such as auxins. Manganese also plays a complementary role in photosynthesis and enzymatic mechanisms.

The nitrogen and sulfur present in FMZ (Lagoon) facilitate the rapid and efficient absorption of micronutrients. Moreover, they play a significant role in reducing environmental stress on plants and improving growth, root development, flowering, fruit formation, ripening, and taste.

The lignin sulfonate chelated formulation in this fertilizer not only ensures the quick absorption of nutrients with the highest efficiency but also, due to its spreading and wetting properties, helps prevent sunburn caused by foliar application.

Boosting Growth and Yields Across Various Crops and Plants

Key Uses of Chelate FMZ

Chelate FMZ is a versatile agricultural solution designed to enhance plant nutrient absorption and improve crop health. Its chelating properties ensure the efficient delivery of essential micronutrients like iron, zinc, and manganese, even in challenging soil conditions. Chelate FMZ is commonly used in field crops, fruit orchards, and vegetable farming to correct micronutrient deficiencies, promote robust growth, and increase yields. Additionally, it supports sustainable farming practices by optimizing nutrient availability and reducing the need for excessive fertilizer applications.

Field Crops

Chelate FMZ enhances growth and productivity in crops such as wheat, rice, corn, and barley. It corrects micronutrient deficiencies, supports robust root development, and improves stress resistance during critical growth stages.

  • Dosage:
1-2 liters per 1000 liters of water for foliar application
Or 4 to 6 liters with irrigation water
  •  Time of application:
Simultaneously with tillering until panicle emergence, or 1 to 2 times at 3-week intervals

Orchards and Fruit Trees

Ideal for citrus, apples, grapes, and other fruit trees, FMZ promotes better flowering, fruit set, and quality. It supports nutrient uptake even in calcareous soils, ensuring optimal yield.

  • Dosage:
2-3 liters per 1000 liters of water for foliar application
Or 8 to 10 liters with irrigation water
  •  Time of application:
After fruit formation and throughout the growing season

Greenhouses

In greenhouse environments, Chelate FMZ supports optimal plant growth by supplying necessary micronutrients in a controlled space, enhancing productivity and quality.

  • Dosage:
1-1.5 liters per 1000 liters of water for foliar application
Or 10 to 15 liters with irrigation water
  •  Time of application:
Throughout the growing season and fruiting, 2 to 3 times at 2-week intervals.

Vegetable Crops

Ensures healthy growth in tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and leafy vegetables by correcting iron, zinc, and manganese deficiencies. Enhances yield and flavor.

Horticulture and Ornamental Plants

Boosts vibrant growth in flowers and ornamental plants by supplying essential micronutrients that enhance color, size, and stress tolerance.

How to Apply Chelate FMZ for Optimal Results

Proper application of calcium nitrate fertilizer ensures maximum nutrient uptake, healthier plant growth, and higher yields. Here’s a step-by-step guide for effective use in various agricultural and horticultural systems:

Important Notes

  • For foliar applications, apply the fertilizer during early morning or late evening hours to avoid leaf burn caused by direct sunlight. This is especially crucial in hot climates.
  • Do not mix Chelate FMZ with highly alkaline fertilizers or chemicals, as it may interfere with the effectiveness of the micronutrients.
  • Ensure uniform distribution of the fertilizer when applied through irrigation systems. Drip irrigation or fertigation methods are ideal for achieving even application of the nutrients.
  • Store Chelate FMZ in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Exposure to high temperatures and sunlight can degrade the product’s effectiveness.
  • Monitor the plant’s growth and health regularly to ensure that the micronutrient levels are optimized. Adjust the application schedule if necessary, based on plant needs and environmental conditions.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Chelate FMZ and what are its primary benefits?

Chelate FMZ is a water-soluble micronutrient fertilizer that contains iron, zinc, manganese, nitrogen, potassium, and sulfur. It is designed to address micronutrient deficiencies in plants, promoting healthier growth, better photosynthesis, improved enzyme production, and enhanced fruit and flower development.

Chelate FMZ provides essential micronutrients such as iron, zinc, and manganese, which are crucial for key processes like photosynthesis, hormone activation, and enzyme production. These nutrients enhance root growth, improve resistance to environmental stress, and boost overall plant health.

Chelate FMZ is suitable for a wide range of crops, including fruits, vegetables, field crops, and greenhouse plants. It is particularly effective for plants that require high amounts of micronutrients to ensure optimal growth and yield.

The application frequency depends on the crop and growth stage. Generally, it is recommended to apply Chelate FMZ every 15–30 days during the growing season. For foliar sprays, apply during early morning or late evening to prevent leaf burn.

Chelate FMZ can be mixed with most liquid fertilizers. However, it should not be mixed with highly alkaline substances or pesticides. Always conduct a compatibility test before mixing with other products to ensure no chemical reactions occur.

  • When stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, Chelate FMZ can last for up to two years. Always check for any changes in color or texture before use.
